Election of committee

Committee members are normally elected at the AGM. Other officers are co-opted by the committee. For details, see the CTS constitution.

Note on committee names

In the late 1980’s, the society voted to change the names of its officers as follows:

• "Chair" to "Steward"
• "Secretary" to "Keeper of the Red Book"
• "Treasurer" to "Smaug"
• "Officer Without Portfolio" to "Bill the Pony".
